Registration and Costs
The registration deadline has been extended through the weekend of August 28th. The deadline for scholarship applications has already passed (August 19th).
You can request a registration scholarship using this form. Some scholarship recipients will also receive help with housing costs. We cannot provide help with travel expenses. All USFWC members are eligible to receive a discount code for reduced registration price -- members, email membership@usworker.coop for the discount code!
The conference costs about $265 per person. If your organization or a local co-op developer has a budget to send you to the conference, you should pay the base-line or higher ticket price, depending on the budget. If you can afford to help cover the cost of other attendees, you should pay $500 or more. If you received a discount on member dues this year, you should apply for a scholarship or pay the member discount rate.
No. Our tracks are designed so that the long-term indoor events at the conference are limited to a smaller number of people per room, and participants don’t mix between those quasi-pod groups. Just for the daytime on Saturday, we’re asking all participants to pick one track and stick with it. Each track includes six hours of content so you will get a full day dedicated to the content you’re most interested in!
There is an option to pick “no track” if you are unavailable on Saturday, September 10. You can arrive throughout the day on Friday, but please indicate if you will not be there at all to help us plan. These options do not change registration price since there’s already a sliding scale.
Please decide which track you’re attending before you register. It is possible for someone on staff to change which track you are registered for. However, tracks each have a registration limit of about 40 people, so you may be more limited in your options if you have to choose a track later. Our staff have limited availability to help with this.
If you test positive for Covid-19 within 24 hours before arriving at the conference you will be given a full refund for the cost of your conference registration.
Accessibility and Language Justice
The USFWC Fall Member Meeting on Friday, September 9th will be accessible to all members virtually as well as in person. Members can register here to attend the Member Meeting via Zoom.
Most events will not be accessible virtually. The support we offer to cooperatives outside of the conference is still entirely virtual, and we want our in-person conference to offer what we can’t deliver online. If you are unable to attend the conference in person we hope you will join us for an upcoming virtual event in November for more technical assistance, or visit the Co-op Clinic.
The language(s) of each event is indicated in the registration form and on our Track Information page. For other Spanish language accessibility questions, please email membership@usworker.coop.
Yes, there is a section in the registration form to provide information about any accommodations you need. We will do our best to provide what we can, and reach out to you if there is an issue.
Temple University Center City and Arch Street Meeting House are ADA accessible. Arch Street has all-gender bathrooms, Temple does not. Sunflower Philly (the location of the awards ceremony and party) is not ADA accessible and has all-gender bathrooms.
