COVID-19 Information

If you test positive for COVID-19 or experience symptoms at the conference call our Conference Health Support Line at (267) 807-5389

The 2022 Worker Cooperative Conference has been designed to mitigate the risk of Covid-19 exposure for all attendees. The only indoor event with more than 50 people in one room will be the USFWC Member Meeting, and it will also be accessible virtually. Otherwise, all events will take place outdoors or in small groups.

Our Event Policies

Proof of vaccination is required to complete registration. N-95 or higher grade masks will be required indoors at all times and will be provided to attendees. All meals will be eaten outdoors. We will ask all attendees to test themselves for Covid-19 within 24 hours prior to attendance using a rapid or PCR test.

By attending the Worker Co-op Conference you are agreeing to follow the above policies. In addition, please help us keep the conference safe by observing these guidelines:

  1. Test for Covid-19 before traveling to the conference.
  2. Wear a mask while traveling on planes, buses, or anywhere with people outside of your household.
  3. If you are experiencing symptoms—such as a new cough, shortness of breath, fever or chills, aching, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea—even if your COVID test comes out negative, please stay home. We will refund tickets for anyone who can’t attend due to symptoms or a positive Covid test.
  4. Observe other attendees’ social distance preferences and ask for verbal consent before touching or getting close to anyone. We will provide color coded wristbands to help attendees communicate their comfort with physical proximity.
  5. Consult our map of local businesses to find outdoor spaces for any social meetups. Avoid entering any other hotel rooms or attending gatherings indoors.

There will be free rapid Covid tests, N-95 masks, and hand sanitizer available at the conference. We will sanitize interpretation equipment between uses.
